The Motherhouse of the Daughters of Charity has been located in Paris at 140 rue du Bac since 1815. These buildings replaced those, which they had occupied from their foundation until the French Revolution.
The chapel was built by the government in 1815, enlarged in 1849, and has been restored numerous times usually to celebrate the major anniversaries of the Marian apparitions. The chapel still exists, and has its own website. Here one can venerate the incorrupt body of Saint Catherine Labouré, the relics of Saint Louise de Marillac, and the heart of Saint Vincent de Paul.
